Bench, Johnny (Lee)
(n. 7 dic. 1947, Oklahoma City, Okla., EE.UU.).

Beisbolista estadounidense. Bench se unió a los Cincinnati Reds en 1967 y, durante sus 17 temporadas como receptor de ese equipo (1967–83), ayudó –junto a Pete Rose y Joe Morgan– a los Reds a ganar cuatro pendones de la Liga Nacional (en 1970, 1972, 1975 y 1976) y a obtener dos victorias en la Serie Mundial (1975–76). Bateador diestro, lideró la Liga Nacional en carreras impulsadas para anotar en tres temporadas (1970, 1972 y 1974) y dos veces en home runs (1970 y 1972). Es reconocido como uno de los más grandes receptores de todos los tiempos.
